Hannah Perritt has been a performer for over 2 decades and has been working as a vocal/performance tutor all over NSW for just short of a decade. Hannah is currently studying a Bachelor of Music Education (Secondary) with the University of New England and is in the process of becoming a qualified vocal first aider.
Hannah has been working in the industry since she was 9 years old, in both film and stage and has had the privilege of working alongside artists and creatives such as Brenda Blethyn, Gillian Armstrong and Frankie J Holden. Hannah has also been a previous junior committee member with The Australian National Association of Teachers of Singing (ANATS) and is heavily involved in the community theatre circle all over the state, Some of Hannah's most recognised credits include leading role’s such as Belle in Miranda Musical Society’s production of 'Beauty and The Beast', Veronica Sawyer in ‘Heathers’ ', Bonnie Parker in ‘Bonnie & Clyde’ , Sally Brown in ‘You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown’, Betty Schaefer in ‘Sunset Boulevard’, Francine Valli in So Popera's Production of 'Jersey Boys', Woman 1 in ' Songs For A New World' and most recently Courtney in the International Amateur Premiere of 'American Psycho'.
Hannah was the 2020 recipient for the award of Best Leading Actress in a Musical at the Canberra Amateur Theatre Awards for her role of Glinda in Wicked an award she was previously nominated for in her role as Eponine in the Roo Theatre's production of 'Les Misérables'.
Hannah has directed, choreographed and produced numerous theatre productions in the Illawarra, most proudly of her production of ’13 The Musical’ Which was staged at the Roo Theatre’. In addition to her work and collaboration with local theatre companies, Hannah is the founder and director for the production company ‘Crystal Clear Productions’ who most recently presented a successful season of the Musical 'The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee'. The company allows Hannah to combine her passion for creating and the arts and was created to allow aspiring performers to have a platform to showcase their talents and to be given unique and inclusive performance opportunities.
Mentoring and educating aspiring performers and musicians is something Hannah has always been very passionate about and is a big inclusivity activist, this is something she believed to be a very important aspect to her business when creating Miss Hannah's Music Room. It has been a life long dream to run her own home based studio and cannot wait to welcome you ♡
